Massimo Fanin joined BLDA in 2019 and became Associate Director in 2026. A RIBA-registered architect with over 20 years’ experience, he specialises in delivering high-end residential and heritage projects across all RIBA stages.

His recent work includes leading the transformation of a disused Grade II listed former bank in Mayfair into a new restaurant. He has also delivered major refurbishments in Cheyne Walk, Belgravia and central Rome, developing particular expertise in giving historic buildings a new purpose while preserving their architectural character.

Known for his strong technical coordination and collaborative approach, Massimo works closely with clients, consultants, designers, contractors and local authorities. He also brings a progressive approach to sustainability, having secured one of Camden’s first consents for full demolition and rebuild following the introduction of stricter sustainability policies in 2021.
