John studied at London Metropolitan University and qualified as an architect in 1990. He worked at several practices, including Architects Co-Partnership and Birkerdike Allen, before joining BLDA in 2000.

He is committed to delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions that preserve the integrity of the original design concept while responding sensitively to the challenges of working with historic and listed buildings.

With extensive knowledge of construction, materials and specification, John combines technical excellence with a highly analytical approach to problem-solving. He leads his team effectively through complex design and construction challenges, developing detailed and practical solutions when difficult issues arise.
