Oceanic House

Oceanic House is a grade 2 listed building which was formerly the HQ for the White Star Line- the company that built the RMS Titanic.

At ground floor level, a generous foyer is finished with stone flooring, panelled walling and coffered ceilings, entered through a restored main entrance to the building, which leads towards the lift lobby and seven new apartments. The interior evokes the period of the building’s original Belle Epoque concept.

The former office building now has high quality apartments from first to sixth floors, with salons facing the primary view towards Pall Mall, and bedroom suites facing towards Pall Mall East or Cockspur Street.

Consent was obtained for an additional storey with a 6,000sq ft penthouse split over two levels. Design innovations include floor build-ups of entirely dry construction and screed replacement tiles, and a main passenger lift doubling as a firefighting lift, able to open directly into the lateral apartments, with concealed sprinklers to all areas. The listed building is rated Very Good in terms of BREEAM sustainability, and has been awarded 5 Stars for the UK Best Architecture Multiple Residence in the 2018 International Property Awards.
