BLDA have been selected as architects for the refurbishment of this Grade 2 listed office building facing both Pall Mall and St James’s Square. The existing premises are around 22,350 sq ft GIA and planning consent is currently sought for an additional storey at roof level. Innovative design proposals include use of underfloor displacement-type air conditioning. New glass and bronze framed entrances will provide level access to a new reception hall and two lifts facing St James’s Square, and to a new commercial unit facing Pall Mall. Conservation repairs to the façades include rebuilding elements of masonry that have been removed or damaged post war.
